Two more sleeps!

The children are counting the days till we embark on our adventure.  This morning they were excited to realise that there were only two more sleeps to go before we leave ... hopefully! When Philip took the car in today to have the new fanbelts tightened, they discovered a leak in the radiator, and further investigation showed we need a new one! Hopefully the mechanic (Dominic Veli) will be able to get it done tomorrow, so we can still leave on Friday!
A week ago we went to pick up our caravan from the dealer.

I knew Philip knew how to handle a caravan, but I was impressed to watch as he backed the caravan into our front yard in one smooth move!

During the week we've had the caravan, we've gradually been filling the cupboards. Esther is particularly happy with her little space above her bunk!

Philip had been wondering where to store the grey water drainage hose... until he hit upon the idea of attaching a length of PVC pipe with a screw cap to the underside of the chassis.

Tomorrow we'll do the final shopping, and the fridge will look a bit fuller... and then we're off!

Looks nice Amaria. I bet the kids are super excited and maybe you are a little bit too? :) We didn't catch up this week...I've been quite busy and I guess you were too. Have a great trip and I look forward to following along
