Crocodiles and waves!

As we had to take the car in early this morning we had breakfast at McDonalds and then went to Crocodylus Park where we walked around before the crowds arrived to watch the daily feeding session at 10 am.  We got to hold a baby crocodile before leaving.  The kids thought it was "cute", but its snout was safely taped up.  They are nasty, agressive little creatures from birth and their teeth are sharp!  There is certainly nothing cute about an adult male!

We spent the afternoon at the Darwin Wave Lagoon at the Harbour Precinct. I didn't have my camera with me, but this link will give you a picture of the fun we had!
When we got back we were greeted by a little girl called Brooke, the granddaughter of the landlords.  She came to play with Esther and Arthur for a while and then they all went to swim in her Opa's pool.  To the children's delight, she has a pet snake- a black headed python.

Nice to see your pages once again ... you're in Darwin, my and Milenko's birthplace. Amazing! :) Nice to see you're having such a good time - the children look tanned and happy. Have a good weekend! Love, Henkela
The comments post up first try now, by the way!

That python does not look very nice, but the children do.
And how does the rhyme go? never trust a crocodile....
The children are just like their mum as far as handling animals goes.
